We are Bethany R. Russell, Ph.D. & Associates — a Florida Professional Association based in Babcock Ranch. We provide children, adolescents, adults, and families with evidence-based care, and we are currently hiring Registered Mental Health Interns.

Who we’re looking for

Clinicians-in-training, working toward licensure.

Registered with the Florida Board
Active Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern (RMHCI) status with the Florida Department of Health, Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
Master’s from a CACREP-accredited program
Completed M.A. or M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (or equivalent CACREP-aligned program).
Interest in evidence-based care
We use PHQ-9, GAD-7, and outcome measures routinely. Familiarity with CBT, trauma-informed care, or play therapy is a plus.
Bilingual welcome
Spanish, French, or Portuguese proficiency is valued but not required. Our practice serves clients in all four languages.

Provide individual, family, and play-therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults under the direct supervision of Bethany R. Russell, Ph.D., LMHC, RPT. Build a caseload at your own pace with clinical support, structured onboarding, and a clearly defined licensure runway.

What you’ll do
  • Conduct virtual intake assessments and ongoing therapy sessions
  • Document thoroughly in our HIPAA-aligned EHR within 48 hours
  • Administer and review PHQ-9 / GAD-7 and other validated measures
  • Attend weekly individual supervision (60 min) and bi-weekly group supervision
  • Maintain active RMHCI status and progress toward LMHC licensure hours
